US President Donald Trump said on Monday that the United States will lead the race for the development and implementation of 5G technology, but "in a little while." Currently, the company that works with the best 5G implementation is China's banned Huawei.

For CNBC, Trump said, "I made 5G a priority and before we got here we were very late, but now we will lead very soon." When asked about China, who leads the scenario, the president concluded by stating that Chinese "are not even close to the capacity of our Silicon Valley geniuses who walk around with their T-shirts and are worth $ 2 billion."

The 5G race is important because, currently, virtually all of our infrastructure is connected. With greater speeds and stability of connection, as these brought by 5G a country accelerates toward the future. Huawei outside the US would be a delay for the country, since Chinese technology is almost ready.

When asked about companies like Facebook, Google and Amazon, Donald Trump just said they are discriminatory: "I can tell they discriminate against me. People talk about collusion. The real collusion is between the Democrats and these companies because they were very much against me during my election campaign, "adding that they would be involved in some sort of" monopoly. "
